Elmsley & Rowe is an independent British fashion store created for women who value timeless style, everyday comfort and pieces that feel as good as they look.
WHAT WE DO
We carefully select footwear and accessories designed to fit naturally into real life. Not pieces that sit in a wardrobe waiting for an occasion, but the ones you reach for on an ordinary Tuesday and still reach for a year later.
We keep the range deliberately tight. It is easier to get a small, well-chosen edit right than to fill a catalogue with hundreds of items nobody has time to assess properly.
COMFORT WITHOUT THE COMPROMISE
Most people have owned a pair of shoes that looked right and felt wrong. That is the problem we care about.
We choose designs with cushioned footbeds, contoured support and materials that soften rather than stiffen with wear. Construction details are listed on every product page, so you can see what you are buying before it arrives.
We are a footwear retailer, not a clinic. We make no medical claims, and our products are not medical devices. If you have a foot condition, a circulatory condition, diabetes or any other health concern, please speak to a qualified healthcare professional before choosing footwear.
THE HARDEST PART OF BUYING SHOES ONLINE
Is not knowing whether they will fit. We know, so we built the shop around it.
Our Size Guide gives UK and EU sizes alongside foot length in centimetres, which is the only measurement that travels reliably between brands. And if you still get it wrong, we pay the return postage, every time, without argument.
Not sure before you order? Message us. We would far rather spend five minutes helping you choose than process a return neither of us wanted.
HOW WE WORK
- Free worldwide delivery on every order, with no minimum spend
- No customs charges. Duties and import fees are covered by us, so nothing is payable on arrival
- 14 days to change your mind, no reason needed, as the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 provide
- 30 days in total to return an unwanted item, as a goodwill extension from us
- Return postage on us, in every case
- A real person answers. Email or WhatsApp us and you hear back within 24 hours on business days
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
Straight answers before you buy. Real delivery times, real prices, conditions written plainly rather than buried in small print. If something has a condition attached, we say so.
Someone there afterwards. If a parcel is late, if something arrives faulty, or if a pair simply is not what you hoped for, tell us. We do not hide from problems and we do not refuse a right that our own policies grant.
Buying from a shop you have not used before takes a degree of trust. That is why our company number, registered office and contact details appear on every page of this site. There is nothing here we are trying to keep quiet.

We are early in this, and we are ambitious about it. We want to be the shop a customer recommends to a friend, not because of a discount, but because the parcel arrived when it was supposed to and someone answered when she needed them to.
